One of the great advantages of staying in Hotel Anna’s Florence is the convenient central location in the centre of Florence. Situated just 350 metres from both the Santa Maria Novella train station and the Fortezza da Basso Exhibition Centre this equates to a simple 5 minutes’ walk to fairs, exhibitions, transport to the airport and transport around the city.

Of course, you probably won’t need transport around the city as Hotel Anna’s great location means that guests are actually within walking distance of many of the main tourist attractions.

For instance, guests can walk to both the Basilica of Santa Maria Novella and the Palazzo Medici Riccardi in just 5 minutes whereas the city’s cathedral (or ‘Duomo’) of St John and the bell tower of Giotto is only around 10 minutes away by foot.

A similar distance away to the east is also the Galleria d’Accademia with its fascinating art works and historic pieces and just a little further guests can also arrive at the Botanical Gardens. Further to the south however, in a mere 15-20 minutes by foot, guests can reach the famous Piazza dellaRepubblica, the Piazza dellaSignoria, Palazzo Vecchio and Ponte Vecchio.
